Q: Im running a Linksys router and have some experience with routers and other pieces of software solutions. In the past I ran some tests with other solutions to try to work some applications, such as servers, video conferencing, chat, etc. Many of them would not work. Q: I have DSL, the connection goes to the DSL modem / router first, then my Linsys Wireless switch / router. I try to set up WEP or WPA, but when I type the address 192.168.1.1 in my browser takes me to the westell modem, Linksys router.
I not know it was probably a dumb question, but I could not find the answer forum or google.

Q: I came home with a router shot. I did not know what to do. The red Diag light was lit and it wouldnt turn off. How hard was disconnecting the router, and pressing the reset switch.
Now, can someone tell me why my router went down? Connecting two computers together, and thats about it.
Also, is there anything else I can the next time the router goes down?

Q: Heres the deal. My roommates and I are on the same Linksys router, the 4-port model. Since we have five people that I needed a hub to use the last person to connect. This is done, no big deal. The problem comes when trying to be able to see each other on the network. Not the Linksys router has its own built-in switch? Yeah, right? Q: I have a small company with nearly 20 pieces running Win2k. We have a 512k DSL shared throughout the network using an Linksys router. The thing is my boss is always pissed off with the employees because they spend much time fooling around the internet during working hours. He told me just let them use the Internet in their lunch hour and after four. Of course he wants to be able to use the internet everyday. Also e-mail to the 24 / 7 remain for all users.

Q: I have a Comcast Cable Modem – I am connected to a Linksys router and Im trying to figure out why I can not stay connected to the internet without disconnecting for a short time to determine exactly what minutes.

Q: Our office has a dozen machines all access to the Internet (via a standard cable modem required). We are currently using a Linksys router, but its not particularly trustworthy (hangs up every now and then). Is there such thing as a professional router for small offices sub $ 500?
