Windows XP will not finish installing! Help! [installing windows] [dots]

Q: I can not figure out what is wrong.
XP only stops the installation with “Installing Windows” with nine minutes remaining. It seems that it is to install (green dots are still moving tips and are still changing) but nothing happens.
Could my XP disc or maybe my HDD? Should I try another XP disk?
Does anyone have any suggestions? What else should I try?

Q: I just played my friend reofrmatted the hard drive and install Windows 98. By reformatting it showed the correct space (20 gigs), but after installing Windows (which is messed up because it could not be found. Com file when loading, so I had to reinstall) It was only 2 performances. Q: After installing all possible updates for my computer, I tried to install WMP 11. The installation went fine, said it was successful, and asked for a restart. Q: Im going to reinstall windows xp on my new computer but I can not remember how I install Windows XP without any “ASPI” something like that .
During installation you need some F1-F12 key and not to install (it will slow down the system)

Q: I have a brand new Maxtor 300 gig SATA drive that I install Windows XP. I go through the blue screen where you select me and I select the partition Maxtor identified only at 139 gigabytes. After the install files on the setup and go to restart I get an error message NTLDR not found continue. Press CTL + ALT + DEL to try again. I do the same thing and nothing works.
Am I doing something wrong?

Q: I try to format the entire disk, without installing Windows XP.
EDIT-Oh wait, how silly of me, the bit of data that the XP CD install after the format used for the XP installation should probably work for another man still on the system to continue with its own Disk . right?
I think I do that now, remove it when Im right, or say something if I have a better somehow for future reference.
