Q: My previous prob, I do not use my floppy drive.
thus I recently got the new HD
maxtor (http://maxtor.com/products/DiamondMax/DiamondMaxPlus/default.htm # DiamondMaxPlus60)
need to install, etc.
cant use disk, files are required so I can burn a CD to boot and install cnat find site.
anyone Maxtor w / other ideas? pls help

i'm goin w2k any day now w/ the added 40 gigs.

obviously you made 3 partitions somehow. only way to delete it would be to re-fdisk
Re:while in the process of formating the hd, i encoutnered stupid errors that forced me to restart the computer.
thus a prob of a new 'hard drive icon' appeared on the 'my computer screen' anyway to remove that?

i tried going into fdisk to del the third but it cna't be found
fdisk seems to be working now
Re:i just called maxtor,
they surprised me w/ their tech support, NO HOLD TIME AT all, well right now i'm using Fdisk and i tihnk its gonna get the HD installed.
Re:are you looking for just a boot disk? or do you want to use maxtor's disk management software?
just go to bootdisk.com and you can download boot disks
