Q: Gonna get rid from my main hard drive of 120GB Raptor u0026amp; get (no RAID). Can I back up the shortcuts on my desktop u0026amp, my “inbox” from Outlook Express?
Also, I have the “F6″ thing when I do reinstall Windows? I have not had a Serial ATA disk. I think I may be a serial u0026amp; have an IDE, yeah?
Thanks for any help.

Why reinstall? Why not just ghost from the old drive to the new drive?
Ok…to prevent me from having to read the manual, is there an easy way to do this? I don't remember what I did or didn't do last time, but I know I don't want the end results that I got last time.
You'll just ghost from the old drive to the new. If you have a specific question let us know.
Re:What happened with Ghost ? Damn dude, I've been using that for years and NEVER had anything bad go wrong …
unless you confused your source drive and your target drive ….. ???
DOH !!!

Might not be able to access the SATA drive from your DOS boot disk and Ghost.

Am I gonna have to do the "F6" thing when I re-install windows for the SATA?

Re:I didn't have to so there's a good chance you won't either.

Re:You can either get a prog like Ghost or TrueImage to make an image of your windows drive or take a dvd or cd burner and start throwing your files on it. And yes you can have one sata and one eide, it worked for me. If you have any more questions after you get it installed post 'em, I think I've been through it all.
